Sinister Wisdom is celebrating its 30th Anniversary this year. We would like to
make it a memorable year in many ways including the release of a special issue
to commemorate the occasion.
Many of you are aware that this is a critical period for independent
publications. Many have had to stop publishing or have had to cut back on their
publication schedules. We would very much like to avoid having that happen to
Sinister Wisdom. As you know, we send free copies of Sinister Wisdom to women
in prison and psychiatric institutions. We are all volunteers and depend on our
regular subscribers to keep us going.
One of the things we are doing is establishing a 30 Year
Anniversary Fund, giving you an opportunity to help us to stay in print. Your
tax-deductible contribution will be recognized in the special commemorative
issue. (Note: You may remain anonymous upon request.) Any dollar amount
is welcome, and your generosity will be greatly appreciated.
