Merry Gangemi

Merry Gangemi.

Merry Gangemi is a writer editor, critic, and co-editor of Sinister Wisdom. She produces and hosts Woman-Stirred Radio, a weekly queer cultural journal with a focus on lesbian writers, musicians, visual artists, academics, policy-makers, and assorted interesting personalities. Woman-Stirred Radio broadcasts live every Thursday from 4 to 6 pm on WGDR and WGDH, the community radio stations of Goddard College. The show also streams live at WGDR.org.

Merry holds a BA in English from New York University, an MA in comparative literature from San Francisco State University, and an MFA in poetry & fiction from Vermont College of Fine Arts.

When she is not working at her town’s small community library, she is reading or wandering through the woods and fields around the home she shares with her spouse, Elizabeth Hansen, in northern Vermont.
